All English speakers have played this game at some point in their lives. It’s essentially a spelling game, which makes it useful in some situations. It can be a fun, if played occasionally. At our Bangkok English school teachers might play it every couple of months, which keeps this EFL activity fresh and enjoyable.

This well known game can be used as a warm-up activity in English schools. It can be played with different level students by using either short words, long words or idioms.
