TU-GET Information

The TU-GET exam preparation course at Language Express helps prepare students in all of the core elements of the TU-GET test. TU-GET or Thammasat University General English Test is an English proficiency entry exam administered by Thammasat University. Students who want to continue their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Thammasat have to pass TU-GET exam. TU-GET is comprised of 3 parts; grammar, reading comprehension, and vocabulary. Each section of the exam focuses on different areas of these core English skills.

1. Grammar focuses on Sentence Completion Error Identification
2. Vocabulary focuses on Close Reading, Sentence Completion
3. Reading focuses on Passage-Based Reading

The maximum score is 1,000. Students need to get at least 550 in order to pass the test and be eligible to apply for entry to Thammasat University.

TU-GET Course at Language Express

• Course Duration - Language Express recommends students do at least 20 hours for each subject. We divide each subject into 2 sections; 16 hours for text book based learning and 4 hours for test based practice. This method ensures that students get a rounded learning experience and are able to both learn the necessary skills needed to pass the exam and then put them into practice using previous test papers.

• Teachers - Language Express offers only Thai teachers for the TU-GET class as the content in the TU-GET textbook is in Thai. All of our teachers are extremely experienced in teaching TU-GET and are highly qualified graduates or post-graduates from renowned universities in Thailand.

Those who want to study both undergraduate and graduate programs at Thammasat University have to take TU-GET exam and get the pass score in order to apply for the university. For private and semi-private classes, students can schedule dates and times of their study to suit there needs.
