TOEIC Information

TOEIC or Test of English for International Communication  is an English proficiency test. In 2008, more than 5 million people took TOEIC tests. For over 30 years, TOEIC has been the standardized test for many companies and industries to help them select candidates for employment. There are 3 parts in the TOEIC test.

TOEIC is conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS). In Thailand, there are a number of companies and industries requring a TOEIC score including airlines,tourism and hospitality, logistic, finance, petrolium, transportation, hospital and some international companies. TOEIC is used to evaluate applicants English skill for their promotion or wage.

TOEIC scores range from 0-990. Most of the test takers use TOEIC to apply for work. However, each company requires a different TOEIC score. Language Express recommends you to get about 600 as international companies usually need people with TOEIC score of at least 550-600.

FREE Mock TOEIC Test

Language Express provides a mock TOEIC test every Saturday and Sunday from 13.00 – 15.00. This is to give you the opportunity to both practice you TOEIC skills and get an accurate assessment of your current score. The test is administered by TOEIC professionals with years of experience in teaching TOEIC students. The test involves reading, grammar and listening and lasts for about 2 hours.
